About Me Page – My Story & Approach

Before becoming a counsellor, I worked in a variety of roles, including many years as a teacher in the UK and Asia. I’m also a third-culture kid, having grown up in different countries across three continents. These experiences shaped my understanding of identity, culture, and human experience, and continue to inform my approach to counselling today.

Supporting others has always been at the heart of my work. My approach is trauma-informed, person-centred, and client-led, offering a safe, non-judgemental space where clients can feel heard, valued, and supported. I work with people facing grief, anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and life transitions, helping them explore their feelings, understand patterns, and find ways forward.

Alongside my private practice, I work with an established mental health charity, which deepens my experience in supporting clients through trauma and complex emotional challenges.

I believe in meeting each person exactly where they are. Every client’s journey is unique, and my role is to offer presence, empathy, and guidance as they navigate their challenges. Counselling is not just a profession for me, it is a way to support people in living meaningful, fulfilling lives.

"People are just as wonderful as sunsets if I can let them be... I watch [them] with awe as [they] unfold." – Carl Rogers
